Joel Plaskett and Frank Turner

 Was super stoked to not only have the chance to see Frank Turner play at The Garrick on April 21Th but I also got to take pics of him too.

What an amazingly talented and nice guy!

Joel Plaskett was pretty great too!

                  Hung out with some of the boys from The Treble after the show at The Yellow Dog.

 And look who happens to show up for some drinks with his buddies, Frank Turner himself.
I gave him one of the Call Response books as a souvenir and he was nice enough to pose for a picture with it. Like I said "what a nice dude".

Red River Rampage 2012

This year the Rampage put on by JamesLee Productions was at The Burton Cummings Theatre and I have to say it wasn't as epic as last year, but what a great line up.

The Brains

Ok so this is my first attempt at a blog, but i thought what the hell I go to enough shows I might aswell say something about them.

First show I would like to share is The Brains.  They played at the Pyramid on Easter sunday with local talent The Thrashers and Bring The Fight. Check them out http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bring-the-Fight/344386205575774

Both opening bands put on a great show, but The Brains take it all. Colin Irvine who is originally from Winnipeg and who has played in a few local bands here. He is now showing off and playing a stand up bass with the band from Montreal The Brains and putting on an amazing show with them.

 And looks like he is for sure enjoying it!
